Arena Battle

Every viewer who joins is an orb with HP, and every message they type in chat hits the other team. Knockouts, comebacks and a podium at the end turn a busy chat into a fight the whole room can follow.

What chat types

How viewers play

Comment A or B

Joins that team as an orb with their profile picture and name. Only a comment that is just a team pick counts, so everyday chat never moves anyone.

Chat

Every message attacks a player on the other team, one hit per short cooldown.

Like

Heals the liker's orb.

Follow

Puts a shield on the follower's orb.

Share

Heals the sharer's whole team.

Gift

Sets off a hit on the other team: the bigger the gift, the more players it reaches and the harder it lands.

How a round goes

  1. Countdown: 5 seconds for the room to pick a side.
  2. Battle: the timer runs (3 minutes by default) while chat fights. An orb at 0 HP is knocked out and comes back with the player's next action.
  3. On screen: knockout alerts call the first knockout, multi-knockouts, streaks and team wipes, and the Top fighters board shows who is leading the fight.
  4. Overtime: when the score is close as time runs out, the round gets extra time.
  5. Results: the winning team takes the round and its top fighters stand on the Team MVPs podium. With auto-restart on, the next round starts by itself.

What you control

  • Host moves from the Live screen, with one click or a keyboard shortcut: Meteor shower, Power surge and Revive everyone.
  • Say on screen: your own message, shown big on the overlay.
  • Round length, overtime and auto-restart, and the team names, colors and side images, all from the control panel.
  • Pause or end a round at any time.
